Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLP2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,354 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLP2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZSCAN16, REV3L, and HSDL1. Each is linked with PLP2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLP2-to-partner and partner-to-PLP2 results are reported.
