Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLP1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,754 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-939P, RNU6-537P, and RN7SL478P. Each is linked with PLP1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLP1-to-partner and partner-to-PLP1 results are reported.
