Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLOD2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,407 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLOD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are PFKFB4, LOXL2, and LNCSRLR. Each is linked with PLOD2 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLOD2-to-partner and partner-to-PLOD2 results are reported.
