Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLOD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLOD1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PLOD1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLOD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where PLOD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
