Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLK2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLK2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PLK2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

KIRP, DLBC, and OV are the cancer types where PLK2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
