Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLIN3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,843 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PLIN3-associated genes across cancer lineages are CIT, GJB2, and BEND3. Each is linked with PLIN3 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLIN3-to-partner and partner-to-PLIN3 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PLIN3 versus CIT in LUAD, with a Pearson correlation of -0.43.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PLIN3→partner) and Y-score (partner→PLIN3) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
