PLIN2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLIN2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 481 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLIN2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FDX1P2, MIR6870, and RN7SL478P. Each is linked with PLIN2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLIN2-to-partner and partner-to-PLIN2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FDX1P2 grouped by PLIN2-low versus PLIN2-high in READ.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PLIN2→partner) and Y-score (partner→PLIN2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
