Across TCGA cell cohorts, PLIN2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,448 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLIN2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of triglyceride storage, Positive regulation of triglyceride storage, and PML body organization. Each is linked with PLIN2 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLIN2-to-partner and partner-to-PLIN2 results are reported.
