Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLGLB2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLGLB2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PLGLB2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLGLB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where PLGLB2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
