Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,165 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLG-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC2A3, SERPINE1, and IL6. Each is linked with PLG in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLG-to-partner and partner-to-PLG results are reported.
