Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLG mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 64 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLG-associated genes across cancer lineages are TFRC, GAPDH, and FoxM1. Each is linked with PLG in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLG-to-partner and partner-to-PLG results are reported.
