Across TCGA cell cohorts, PLG mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 136 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLG-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR52J3, ACSM2A, and OR2T8. Each is linked with PLG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLG-to-partner and partner-to-PLG results are reported.
