Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLEKHG1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLEKHG1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PLEKHG1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLEKHG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PLEKHG1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
