Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLEKHA1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,311 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLEKHA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are BTBD16, BTRC, and CD86. Each is linked with PLEKHA1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLEKHA1-to-partner and partner-to-PLEKHA1 results are reported.
