Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLCXD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLCXD1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PLCXD1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLCXD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KIRP, ESCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where PLCXD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
