Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLCG2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLCG2 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PLCG2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLCG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PLCG2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
