Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLCD3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLCD3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher PLCD3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLCD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where PLCD3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
