Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLCD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLCD1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PLCD1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLCD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

GBM, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PLCD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
