Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLBD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLBD1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PLBD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLBD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PLBD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
