Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLAGL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLAGL1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher PLAGL1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLAGL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and ACC show a favorable association.

UCS, STAD, and UVM are the cancer types where PLAGL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
