Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLAAT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLAAT3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PLAAT3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLAAT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and UCEC are the cancer types where PLAAT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
