Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2R1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLA2R1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PLA2R1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2R1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and STAD are the cancer types where PLA2R1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
