Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLA2G7 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PLA2G7 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where PLA2G7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
