Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLA2G6 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PLA2G6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PLA2G6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
