Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLA2G4B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher PLA2G4B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH are the cancer types where PLA2G4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
