Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLA2G10 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PLA2G10 data layer compared with 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PLA2G10 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLA2G10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and KIRC show a favorable association.
BRCA, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PLA2G10 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
