Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLA1A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,510 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLA1A-associated genes across cancer lineages are WRAP53, ZNRF3, and ORAOV1P1. Each is linked with PLA1A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLA1A-to-partner and partner-to-PLA1A results are reported.
