Across TCGA patient cohorts, PLA1A mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 35 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PLA1A-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, JNK2, and Tuberin. Each is linked with PLA1A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PLA1A-to-partner and partner-to-PLA1A results are reported.
