Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKP3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PKP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and PRAD are the cancer types where PKP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
