Across TCGA patient cohorts, PKM mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 57 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PKM-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, Ku80, and Notch1. Each is linked with PKM in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PKM-to-partner and partner-to-PKM results are reported.
