Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKIB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKIB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PKIB Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKIB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, COAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where PKIB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
