Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKIA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKIA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PKIA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKIA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, DLBC, and PRAD are the cancer types where PKIA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
