Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKHD1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PKHD1 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PKHD1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKHD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and SCLC show a favorable association.

KIRC, COAD, and SCLC are the cancer types where PKHD1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
