Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKD2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKD2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PKD2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, UCEC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PKD2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
