Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKD1P6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PKD1P6 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PKD1P6 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKD1P6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCS show a favorable association.
HNSC, KICH, and KIRC are the cancer types where PKD1P6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
