Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKD1L2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PKD1L2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher PKD1L2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKD1L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

KICH, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where PKD1L2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
