Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PKD1L1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PKD1L1 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PKD1L1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PKD1L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

MESO, CESC, and KIRC are the cancer types where PKD1L1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
