Across TCGA patient cohorts, PITRM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,993 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PITRM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RBFOX2, EPC2, and SP4. Each is linked with PITRM1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PITRM1-to-partner and partner-to-PITRM1 results are reported.
