Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PITRM1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PITRM1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PITRM1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PITRM1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THYM and UCS show a favorable association.

ACC, UVM, and KIRP are the cancer types where PITRM1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
