Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PITPNM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PITPNM3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher PITPNM3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PITPNM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, ESCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where PITPNM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
