Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PITPNC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PITPNC1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PITPNC1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PITPNC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, HNSC, and LUSC are the cancer types where PITPNC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
