Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PITPNA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PITPNA data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PITPNA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PITPNA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where PITPNA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
