Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIP5K1C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIP5K1C data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PIP5K1C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIP5K1C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD and UCEC are the cancer types where PIP5K1C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
