Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIP4P1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIP4P1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PIP4P1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIP4P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PIP4P1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
