Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIP4K2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIP4K2A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PIP4K2A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIP4K2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

CESC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where PIP4K2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
