Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIN1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PIN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM, LUAD, and ACC are the cancer types where PIN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
