Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIM1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PIM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and DLBC are the cancer types where PIM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
