Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3R4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3R4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PIK3R4 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3R4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, SARC, and COAD are the cancer types where PIK3R4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
