Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3R2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PIK3R2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher PIK3R2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3R2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LUSC show a favorable association.

LIHC, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PIK3R2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
