Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PIK3R1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PIK3R1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PIK3R1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PIK3R1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and GBM are the cancer types where PIK3R1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
